WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

FROM OUR HIVES

TO YOUR HOME

The True Honey Co. story began somewhere far from anywhere when our founder Jim McMillan spotted hills blanketed with Mānuka flowers while exploring New Zealand's breath-taking, remote back country.

It gave him an idea - to harvest, bottle and sell Mānuka honey that is deliciously good, looking after everybody (and every bee) at every step. Jim and his team searched for the best areas of Mānuka bush to place their beehives, building solid partnerships with the people who own the land.
The result is a rare and precious honey from New Zealand – where each region’s climate and landscape has contributed to the rich, complex flavour characteristics of our premium Mānuka honey.

From these faraway and pristine locations, we have curated a full range of premium Mānuka honey. But nothing epitomises the True Honey Story more than its Rare Harvest.

Rare Harvest is strictly limited to 200 luxuriously presented, highly covetable jars of extraordinary quality 1,900+ MGO, 33+ UMF™  Mānuka honey. Independently certified by an UMF accredited laboratory as the highest rated Mānuka honey in the world. A remarkable miracle of nature that may never happen again. Exclusive to Harrods.

We sell authentic New Zealand Mānuka honey rated 300+ MGO / UMF™ 11+ and above and are involved in every part of the process from bee to you. Every batch is independently tested, so you can be sure The True Honey Co. Mānuka honey is the highest quality, and exactly what is says on the jar.
