Origin
Mānuka honey is renowned for its distinctive antibacterial qualities, which are attributed to the naturally occurring compound methylglyoxal (MGO).
Manufactured in New Zealand, these sachets contain 41% authentic New Zealand Mānuka honey, independently tested to contain a minimum of 1000mg/kg MGO.
The New Zealand mānuka honey in these sachets is produced by bees collecting nectar from the mānuka plant (Leptospermum scoparium), with the hives located in remote locations within both the North and South Islands.

The True Honey Co. is certified and licensed by NZ Fernmark (License number:100086) which verifies New Zealand as its country of origin. The Fernmark license is a formal government recognition of The True Honey Co.'s connection to New Zealand.
Natural Support
Methylglyoxal (MGO) is a naturally occurring compound in manuka honey, known for its unique antibacterial properties. The sachets contain 41% authentic NZ manuka honey, independently tested to contain at least 1000mg/kg of methylglyoxal (MGO).
Formulated to contain collagen and SkinAx²™ (a patented formulation of grape seed extract, melon concentrate, zinc and vitamin C), which studies suggest may naturally support skin health.
Environmental
As part of their commitment to care for the fragile ecosystem, The True Honey Co. use helicopters to fly the hives into their environment to avoid disruption to the bees and their native bush home.

Quality
To ensure the quality and authenticity of New Zealand mānuka honey exports, the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) enforces strict regulations, including a robust scientific definition used to authenticate genuine New Zealand mānuka honey.
The honey used in the sachets, has been tested against the requirements of the MPI definition and meets the classification to be labelled as NZ Mānuka honey.
In addition to meeting the MPI definition to be labelled as NZ Mānuka honey, the bulk honey has also been independently certified for quality factors including authenticity, and purity against the grading system of the Unique Mānuka Factor™ Honey Association. The honey used in the sachets has been rated UMF22+.
Prior to release, samples of finished product are independently tested for a range of chemical, microbial and organoleptic parameters to ensure they meet the requirements set out within specifications.
The sachets must also comply with all relevant NZ regulations, and those of the importing country.
Throughout the supply chain, all honey processors are required to meet the requirements under the Food Act 2014. This includes regular, independent audits to verify compliance to their Risk Management Programme (RMP) as required under New Zealand legislation.
